Fun Idea for getting your picky eater to eat!

Kids love eating off a stick. Buy some popcycle sticks at the craft store and get creative... add fruit, meatballs or veggies and serve for a fun meal or snack.

Getting Ready for Back to School!

Can you believe it! Fall items are arriving daily and it is time to think of back to school. I am like that guy in the staples commercial where I am singing down the isles getting the kids supplies while the son has a gloomy face! LOL!!!! Hard to believe I get a break when they go back :)

Oh well, hope everyone is enjoying their summer and if you want to chat send me a line

July 4th

Well I am packing up the kids and my DH and we are off to our friends house on the lake! They just bought a speed boat and the kids are clammering to go on it. Let's hope the weather stays nice so we can all have fun !

Just in case you need a fun project to do with your kids, here is something they should enjoy

Colored Sand Craft
What You Need:- Sand - Food Coloring- Paper Towels - Baby Food Jar - empty and clean- Glue - Construction Paper
How To Make It
Start by making the colored sand. Divide the sand into batches and add a different color of food coloring to each. Mix them well, then spread them out on paper towels and allow the sand to dry completely before using it.
Pour the colored sand in different layers into the baby food jar (or any other jar for that matter) to create designs. Close the jar and display.

For another colored sand art activity, spread some glue on a sheet of construction paper, then make designs by pouring the colored sand on the glue. Allow to dry, then gently shake the paper to get rid of excess sand.
